Weight loss can worsen cellulite

While losing weight may lessen the appearance of cellulite for some women, for others, it may actually worsen the condition, the results of a new study indicate. Cellulite refers to the appearance of 'dimpling' on the thighs, buttocks and hips. It is sometimes described as 'orange peel' skin. Around 85% of women are affected. According to the researchers, while the condition is not specific to overweight people, excess weight may worsen the condition.
